Berkeley Group expands port, strengthens Pembrokeshire presence
Berkeley Group has taken occupancy of three commercial properties at Pembroke Port, further strengthening its foothold in Pembrokeshire.
Berkeley Coachworks now operates from three distinct sites within the dock area.
Berkeley Coachworks expands into Pembroke Dock
Through its subsidiary Berkeley Coachworks Ltd, the firm now runs its activities from Pillar Warehouse, The Guard House and Falcon House. This move reflects strong demand for both industrial facilities and quality office accommodation, and it signals confidence in the local market. The firm’s focus on bespoke manufacturing and engineering solutions will be amplified by the new sites.
Pillar Warehouse offers roughly 12,000 sq ft of space, making it suitable for warehousing and other industrial activities.
The Guard House, a Grade II listed building, provides about 2,184 sq ft of office space and retains historic character. Its period features have been preserved, while modern services have been installed to meet current business needs.

Falcon House is one of four Grade 11 listed annexes that have been sensitively renovated to create flexible modern workspaces while preserving the area’s rich maritime heritage.

Funding and regional impact
The renovation formed part of the Pembroke Dock Marine project, financed by the Swansea Bay City Deal, the UK and Welsh governments, the European Regional Development Fund via the Welsh Government, and private investment.
